Application Process For The Scheme

Interested individuals should first contact their electricity provider to express their interest in switching to solar energy. Upon receiving the request, the utility company will dispatch an official to visit the installation site. During this visit, the officials will conduct an assessment and provide all necessary details, including the fee structure and approval requirements.

Customers can also request approval for the installation of monitoring systems during the site inspection to track the performance of their solar panels effectively.

After completing the installation, customers must contact the electricity provider again to schedule a final inspection. This inspection is crucial for obtaining the necessary approval to qualify for available solar subsidies.

Once the provider’s approval is secured, customers can apply for the subsidy and inquire about the tariff rates for any excess energy generated. This excess energy can be sold back to the government, allowing customers to earn additional income from their solar power system.
